Hi. I’m benzduck.

A Eugene native, Oregon alum, lifelong fan and supporter since the late Sixties.

Documenting the prehistory of the Ducks is my semi-obsession. Call it a stress-release mechanism from my day job in healthcare. 

Unless otherwise attributed, every story on this blog is authored by me, and I take full blame/credit for the whole mess.

I research carefully, but I’m always willing to make corrections where necessary, so if you see something that looks wrong, don’t hold back.  Drop me an email here.

And if you’d like to contribute.. add detail to the Duck history that some fans seem to want to either ignore, or pretend never happened, let me know. Memoirs always welcome.
